One project ends, another one follows hard on its heels, with no advance warning. But at least we've moved on to projects that can be sensibly completed in normal working hours. Progress!

My new reading glasses came in today, so I picked them up this afternoon. I'm now marvelling at how much blacker and sharper close up text looks. I'd got kind of used to it being a sort of smudged dark grey.

Today is a grey, grey day. I'm not sure if this is a good or a bad thing. I was getting kind of used to brilliant blue skies and sunshine, but on the other hand the tree pollen may be less of an annoyance. Hayfever for me this year seems to be light on the sneezing but extremely heavy on the drowsy, lethargic side of things. I snoozed away most of the weekend, neglecting all the Stuff I Need To Do, so that I'll have to shoe-horn it into some other day instead, and then could barely sleep at all last night ( Read more... )
